Electrical Testing (EICR)

In the UK, employers that are 'duty holders' are required to provide a safe working environment and must ensure that all electrical equipment and systems comply with the standards set in The Electricity at Work Regulations (EAWR) 1989 are made under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

Electrical Installation Condition Reports

 

Our engineers carry out an inspection and testing of the condition of an existing electrical installation - Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR). These inspections willhighlight and identify:

  • Any defective electrical work.

  • Defects against the current Electrical Regulations (BS7671), bringing attention to any dangerous conditions.

  • Circuits or equipment that are overloaded.

  • Potential electric shock or fire hazards.

  • The lack of earthing or bonding.
