Improving Efficiency: A Closer Look at Our Latest Maintenance Project at The Maynard School in Exeter

During the past month, Ftec Building Services had the privilege of performing maintenance work at The Maynard School in Exeter, Devon. The maintenance work included the installation of new LED lighting and repair of the building's exterior gutter.

At Ftec Building Services, we take pride in our maintenance package services. We strive to ensure that each project is tailored to our clients' design, budget, and needs. No matter the size of the project, we'll help you.

However, when done properly, reactive maintenance can help ensure that buildings remain safe, comfortable, and functional for their occupants. To minimise the need for reactive maintenance, proactive maintenance strategies can be employed, such as regular inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.

Our goal was to ensure that The Maynard School completed all the essential repairs and maintenance. Regular building maintenance and repairs are essential for schools to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for students, teachers, and staff. Neglecting necessary repairs can lead to safety hazards, such as loose handrails or damaged flooring, and can contribute to the spread of illness through poor ventilation or inadequate plumbing.

Additionally, regular maintenance can extend the life of a building and prevent costly emergency repairs. By investing in regular upkeep, schools can prioritise the well-being of their community and provide a comfortable and safe space for learning.

Get in touch with our Exeter engineers today for more information. We'd be more than happy to help your building comply with the latest regulations!
